Fuel Line
« on: December 31, 2019, 10:21:26 AM »
Had to run new fuel line after troop seat install. Used 5/16 steal and got a nos fuel filter, old one was crusty with no filter inside. Only have one good fuel tank but that’s plenty of gas for me to run around.

Something you might want to do is open the hole up from hole straight down. I have had to remove the covers a couple of times for various reasons. Had to empty out the gas tank each time. I’ve been told that was also a field modification.

Speaking of draining the gas tanks, I put a tee in the line just before the fuel filter because I drain the tanks each year to put in fresh gas. I just put a small ball valve and a hose barb on the bottom of the tee so all i have to do is use a short hose and I can drain right into a gas can, no mess.
