I know this is an old post but I thought I might add my couple of copper discs... I have worked with several folks who rent to,the movies and they do quite well. Dan from NM, has a major military rental company and in addition to being an attorney he has the system wired tight and makes incredible moneymdoing so. My friend Bob, rented his hand built Spitfire tomgge Hollywood premiere of Dunkirk for a week to just sit at the premiere and earned $45k plus expenses. I will be loaning one of my WWII Jeeps for a movie in China (pending financing) will accompany my vehicle to ensure it's not abused and will be paid for each week that I am there to include expenses .. The key is to make you/or a designated representative accompanying the vehicle a requirement for leasing .. I have a jeep currently on display at a air museum, and their B25 returned from the Catch 22 film shoot in Italy .. the plane was repainted for the movie to give it a combat worn look... water based paints are now used for that process .. their pristine B25 looks so good with the paint job that they've left in on instead of washing it off ... I would love to have my HT in a movie and will look at that as being a goal in 21-22 ... all the above will be a requirement for its use. I would love to put a production company together in the Ohio area for such a purpose, utilizing Dan's assistance and his contract framework as a model ...I will be seeing him in May to visit this idea. Will post my findings in may tomsee if there is any interest from others in working with me on this.
