Ouch!! That is similar to the brackets used on the Maxson Quad Mount. Those feed brackets have a different mouting set up, and if someone was looking too replace a quad bracket, thats just about the location I would pick to cut off a feed bracket to make a replacement piece. Can't think of any modification that would entail torching off that feed.
