Is there a commercially available spring available that will replace the brake shoe guide spring on the rear brakes, there are two on each brake and I believe front and back are the same. Part numbers are G067-0601990 and A-167730 ordnance number.

Check with Kevin Lockwood, most of the parts on the halftrack were off the shelf items from the trucks of the day. Many of the components were used into the 60’s.

If nothing else you could take an old spring down to a truck shop and their parts department could probably give you a replacement. Bendix is also really good about helping out with this sort of thing. I'm not positive but i belive the springs i got are from a Duce 1/2. Good luck in the search.
