Front seat sizes/construction. White M2A1
« on: January 07, 2021, 05:50:41 PM »
Good morning,

I have a few questions.

Could someone post a picture of the bracket that engages the adjustment slots under the drivers seat, such that I can make a copy?

The drivers seat back must have had a wooden board for the canvas/cushion to go on. What size/thickness is that board, and is the passenger seat the same? What thickness is the cushion?

I have many questions, but this is enough for now.

Have a nice day.
Sam.

Here are some pictures of the bracket and the dimensions. There are 3 parts. the bracket is welded to the plate flush with the right side and 2.5 inches from the rear of the plate. There is a small tab welded under the upper lip. I believe this is what you are looking for but if you need some thing else let me know.

Rod Shaver had these NOS. I would check with him to see if he has any left.

Hi Monkeypirate,
Thank you for that, exact info with backup pictures. Very good. Just what I needed.

Steve1973,
Thank you for the lead.
Being new to the H.T. game, I don't know Rod. How would I contact him, please?

I am a D.I.Y. kind of man, so it is a toss-up whether to buy or manufacture. Either way, thank you for the support. Won't be my last inquiry.

Have a nice day.

Sam, downunder.

Glad I could help. Keep the questions coming. Contact info for Rod: Rod shaver 602-421-0858. This can be found on this site under halftrack parts dealers. Though some have dissapeared over time.
