Looking for NOS Terminal block
« on: June 13, 2024, 08:39:27 AM »
Hi all,  I’m in search of a 10 gang NOS terminal block for the firewall.  .  Does anybody have an extra they would want to part with?   All of  the usual sources have sold out.

May  use a modern replacement short term and will probably make an original style block if I can not  find an  NOS version.

Thanks in advance

Mike France has been looking out for one for quite a long time with no luck.

Nearest I could find would need a new back board and correct screws.

Ok thanks , I figured it would it would be near impossible to find . Thought I would ask if a spare was floating around somewhere?  Appreciate the  alternate option. Might go that route and make my own .

Cheers

Ace hardware has a 10 terminal block that bolts right in! Looks really close to original. Give that a shot. https://www.acehardware.com/departments/automotive-rv-and-marine/marine/marine-electrical-equipment/8093569

Ok so I’ve been digging and scratching for a terminal block for the halftrack.  Looked everywhere , asked all the usual sources and so forth.   No luck!!  So I called the Cole Hersee company , it turns out they had a box of 1945 halftrack terminal blocks still on the shelf!!  What a day!!

WOW!!! Awesome job, John!! I've seen enough demand for these that you could quit your flying job and live off of making terminal strips!

Big thank you Jon !   That’s a good one  !  Not sure making and selling these will pay the rent?    It was fun to actually restore something using original parts and have it turn out almost perfect.   You are a great source for the  inspiration, steering restore, bumpers, perimeter rail, etc.

Cheers.
