M3/M3A1 brackets?
« on: July 26, 2024, 07:15:03 PM »
Can anyone identify these?  I picked them up last year at the Kilroy event in Shepherdsville, KY, on the off chance that I needed them, but haven't been able to determine what they are/where they go.  Thanks.

I was not at the Kilroy show, but those are a pair of brackets I made. Someone must have bought them from me and then resold them at that show as they still have my price tag on them. LOL. They go in the rear seat compartment on the raised area for the seat cushions at the front of the HT on a M3. They bolt to the bulkhead and the fuel lines go through the cut outs to your fuel tanks.

ps. In your picture they are upside down from how they would go in the HT.

Too funny Steve!  I see where they go now.

Might replace the brackets that are on my bed with these....they're much better quality.  Just a pain to grind welds and re-weld new parts on...and I'd have to alter the PS for the M3A1 setup.  Hmmmm....

If I may ask where did your bed come from as none of that steel looks to be very heavy gauge?

Bought it through GH back around ~2010/2011-ish.  Been sitting in storage until recently.

Thanks I bought the extra set from Tom. I still need to make the rear filler pieces by the rear door.
