How to remove dash
«

Hi All,
Is the White dash able to be removed without removing and side armor?
Have one with some gauges and switches but they are badly rusted and would rather work on it from both sides inside.
Any videos or references?

The dash will come out. It’s a very difficult process though. Lots of bolts that are hard to get to. If the gauges are rusty, then most likely the bolts will be also; and stuck. The dash is definitely easier to work on if you can stand it on end.

I did one today. I had to drill out all the bolts. Took about 2 hours.

When a mattock is part of the tool lineup for dash removal, it ain't a good sign!

I’ve had good success welding a good quality nut on top of a cleaned screw head.

I too have had good luck welding a 7/16 nut to the bolt head and after a minute hit it with a 3/8" impact and they screw right out
