Dude mirrors

Just got my 1942 white with quad 50’s, got tags on her but am nervous on the road without extended side mirrors, anyone have any options? Impossible to see anything without? Also around the front window frame the bolts right ending each bolt is a small round “puck” any experience of removing them so i can take the nut and bolt out to sue the holes to mount side mirrors.  Thanks  Paul

I know its not correct. It looks more military if you plan on driving halftrack.
I used ww2 jeep mirror kits for both sides  mounted on flat bar  tapered the hole for existing armor bolts location on pillar.
materials:
6 inch long x 1 inch wide  1/4 in thick for surface
round mounting nub welded is 3/8 thick x 1 1/2 inch long rounded off 1 end with a hole for mirror arm.
off set nub on center to forward edge on each side as not to interfere with upper fold door window armor.
