Started on the radio wiring, I’m using the NOS conduit but removed the old wiring. Not a lot of info on the routing as this was supplied by the OEM. I do have the installation manual for the M3. I have had to modify some of the locations from the manual. I’m also adding circuit protection and a cut off switch. I routed the conduit around the back side of the chain box it landed perfectly where I wanted it to.

Don,
Can you include pics of where/how you added the cutoff switch and in-line circuit protection?  I think that's smart, in the event of an overload or other issue that could start an electrical fire.  Not at this point yet but would love to be able to reference how you did it when I do get to this stage.

Thanks, Tom

Your wish is granted

If you need more detail let me know. If you want I’ll do a diagram. I know the installation isn’t the original configuration, but I think the restoration gods will forgive me because I don’t want it to burn it to the ground if there is a short.

Thanks Don.  I'll watch from a distance for now but will likely reach out and talk to you before I wire mine up.

Got a little side tracked, doing a little work on a full tracked vehicle. Tearing down my parts tractor for my Clark CA-1 Airborne dozer. Still will be doing my radio project on Zelda. Enjoy!

Making more progress on the radio installation. Definitely found some discrepancies in the installation manual. Have had to tap dance a few times. The big issue right now there are about 4 different versions of the wiring for the intercom box. (Mine is a BC 606D. Since I don’t know squat about radio’s it’s a bit of a challenge.

Anyone ever wired it up?
