HT Combat Rim 'Depth'
« on: June 06, 2012, 05:35:38 AM »
I have two combat rims for my HT, and one is 'deeper', and the other more shallow.

Am I correct in understanding that the deeper (taller as it lays on the floor) one would cause the tire to fit deeper into the wheel well, and cause the tire to rub the frame as I have heard? That makes sense, but before I trade/sell, I want to make sure I let go of the one I DON'T need! I believe I heard that the deeper one was for the M-20/M-8 series of vehicles.

If so, anyone need the deeper one? Trade preferred. Can bring to Oscoda this weekend... Can pull and get a picture if interested.

I don't know for sure, but I think the deeper one is for a M8/M20.  I remember reading how the M8/M20s can use the combat rims off a halftrack, but not vice versa.
