Wanted: Front diff/axle flanges
« on: January 16, 2014, 06:24:49 PM »
Got to my front axle today.  My first hint was all the trash in the diff oil. Next was shaking the ft drive shaft and it moving 1/2 inch, not the u joint.  Took apart one side and somebody removed the flange. Guess they got tired of the noise.  Anyway looking for a good used pumpkin and axle flanges.  Or maybe a complete axle.  I'm in Tennessee. Might be able to pick up at Mvpa show this year but would like to get things moving sooner.

I think clint has a complete front end- he goes by Wayofftrack. He is in florida so it would not be too long of a drive.

Hi guys,
I have a couple of extra used front ends that are complete from drum to drum. One is from a White m2 and one is from an m15 made into a truck. Both are well used but I think they are good. Have not had them apart tho. I'm rebuilding a front end now. Where is the best place to get bearings? I'm sure we can work something out.

Not sure if this is the best place to get bearings and seals, but I generally go through E.B. Atmus (www.ebatmus.com).  They're a lot cheaper than what I can get locally, and they almost always have what I'm looking for.

Hi guys,
Where is the best place to get bearings?
Clint

The best place to get bearings is Kevin Lockwood. His prices are the best. He goes by col.halftrack on this forum. He has bearing for everything on the halftrack.
