Title: M2A1 .30 cal straps
Post by: KC on April 06, 2015, 06:35:29 PM
Does anyone have a picture of the web straps securing .30 can ammo cans to the five footman loops along the inside of the rear armor for the M2A1? I have spoken with David at WeeBee about making a set, curious how they are mounted.
Thank you, Karl

That is where I got mine. He sells them as a set. One end is a buckle and the other end is a strap. The three center ones are a combo strap and buckle. I think Rod Shaver has one of these on eBay right now. Here is a photo of how they look with cans in place. I can get a photo without the cans on Wednesday if interested.

Also, a M1917watercooled 30 cal. water can can be mounted instead of the ammo can.
