I was having a very hard time installing the fuel pump today. Turned the engine to move the cam so the pump arm would go in, but no luck. I then looked inside the mounting hole and saw that there is a small cylinder shaped sleeve that I was able to move back to put the pump in. But it kept sliding down. Assuming that the cylinder needs to be retracted I cut a long thin piece of sheet metal and used it as a retainer. Pump slipped right in. I pulled the thin metal strip out and it bolted up perfect. Can I assume I did this correctly? Paul
