Very interesting that a reserve was not met. He must want a restored price for his track. I sent him a question asking more detailed info about the track and more photos. His reply was that's all the photos he has and he knew very little about the track or didn't understand the questions asked. That throws up red flags for me. Overall the track looks very complete and a good starter. The one thing I did noticed is that the rear floor isn't even close to original and is made up to resemble original. No well lockers, no hand rails, the troop seats are solid and do not lift up for storage as originals do. It's hard to make anything else out with limited photos such as what does the rear look like. He will not post any additional photos is what he told me.

The headlights look a little too small as well. It appears to have a data plate.
Per seller:
"This would be an excellent track to use for reenactments/WWII events as is or an easy candidate for restoration."

I had also asked him a couple of general questions and wanted more pictures of the rear. He said he was out of town and wouldn't be back before the end if the auction. He didn't know if it was titled to him. When it was relisted I asked if he was back in town and could give me the info and pictures I had asked for. He said he wouldn't be back before 8-17 and if it didn't sell by then he'd get back with me. Same red flags here - it'd be tough to commit to a binding offer without having seen it in person or be able to get questions answered and see more details.
