Gentlemen:
Can't find a good picture to answer this question:
Is there a rubber boot or anything between tie rod and the front axle arm? ...or, does it just get tightened down with the spring around the tie rod shaft? Most modern vehicles have a rubber boot or something to retain the lubrication grease...this seems to only have a spring around the shaft.
Any guidance/advice would be appreciated!
Thanks

Far as I know there is no rubber boot. I don't have any on mine.

There is a leather sleeve that is wrapped around the shaft and laced up sort of like a shoe. it is about 6-7 inches long with grommets for the lace.

I think that is only for the drag link that has the leather sleeve, not the tie rod ends.

yes, you are right thanks for correcting me. I was thinking of the drag link not the tie rod ends. my mistake.

I have the rebuild kits (springs etc) for the tie rod ends. I also have the boots for the drag link.

Thanks, Kevin!
I managed to rustle up the steering parts, but will definitely be buying some more stuff from you.
Drop me a line when you get a chance, please.
