On 11/11/2012 I freed a throw out bearing from its original box. The newspaper it was wrapped in had the same date but 1944. Twilight Zone moment. MacArthur on the front. Article about Patton on the back

Was this cutting wrapped around the part or had the packer just placed it in there? I wonder if anyone else found other pages?

The NOS throwout bearing I bought was packed with WW2 newspaper as well. No articles as cool as Maj. Bong, MacArthur or Patton though!
