Finally had a local event that wasn't canceled this weekend.
Bertha did about a 20 mile round trip.
Was called "Glory Days" with old tractors, steam/hit-miss engines, good food and a great
tribute to veterans ceremony. Even met a gentleman that trained on half tracks in the early 50's.
He's in a photo below on the scooter.
We had a really good chat.
I think he was a BIT surprised he found a half track at the show!!!
The half track ran great. She seemed happiest around 25-30 mph.
Also took along my M38A1 Jeep. She's been in the family since 1969 when dad bought her from a local fire dept.
Had many great times as an indestructible teenager in the Jeep. ;)
But she didn't look this good when I was playing "Dukes of Hazzard" in her!!
Was good to finally get out to an event and show my friends what I'd been up to!!!
Take care,
Keith

Sounds like it was a pretty successful first outing. It's awesome that you met a veteran, and a halftrack guy to boot!
I like the flag holding bracket on the back...nice addition.
