Title: Fuel shut off valves
Post by: SpencerB on November 06, 2020, 07:16:03 PM
So, I am working on the fuel shut off block.  One of my valves is not original and appears to be too large to screw in.

Are there any after market valves out there that will work as a replacement?  Or does anyone know what the specifications are for the valve size?

Thanks

Check the White Halftrack enthusiast Facebook page, some one posted ones they were reproducing. To mount they you have completely remove the stems.

Steve A.    Thanks for the info.   I looked at BAIVs and I may end up going that way.  Hoping for a less expensive fix.   Yeah, I know....ain't nothing inexpensive on these!

I used the BAIV valve.
Looks/works great....but wasn't cheap.

I gave up trying to repair a very old tired valve that just kept leaking and went for the BAIV option. It may be a bit expensive but in the long run it was £200.00 well spent.
