Title: m16 halftrack for sale in canada

these dont come up for sale to often. $55,000
m16 halftrack complete with the quad mount.
i wonder if the rear armor is original.

Probably an M15 with M16 rear armor since the 16's all had winches, supposedly.

I like the look. What I've wondered is if the first few M13's were roller models. There is a picture of one in the Ord-9.

Hi Steve,
I've just never seen a period photo of an M-16 with a roller. I thought I had seen somewhere a reference to all the M-16's being winch equipped. So far I've seen two 16's in collectors hands with rollers including this one. One i tried to buy unsuccessfully but never got a personal look at it to see if it was original to the vehicle.

 Just as a reference, I have a M13 rebuilt as a M16 Ord # 1040 and it is a winch model for which by the way I could use a winch?? Any body??  :)

Andy, I'm in SW Michigan. To the best of my knowledge it's all good. It has all the handles and such. Turning the shaft make's the drum go around, but I have not hooked it up and pulled with it.
