the most common size armor screw used on the halftrack was 1". about 70% of them i would guess.
the 1" screws where used to connect the 1/4" armor plate to the 3/16 inch connector plates. when this combination is used there will be 1/8" of thread past the nut on the white style nuts.
i checked all the halftracks i have here and 1/8" past the nut is the most common. there are a few at 1/16" and some alot longer but i think 1/8" is what they where shooting for in most cases.
if you buy the nos ones out there you will get a mix of 7/8" and 15/16" screws. the 7/8 will be flush with the nut and the 15/16" will be 1/16 past the nut. these work good on areas with thinner back plate but may not give you the right look in most areas.
