I know on M2's there is a shim between the bed and the front frame pad. It's about 4"x2" with a hole centered for the bed hold down bolt. My question is has anyone seen more than one per side? Do all the M2/M4's have these? Last, Do the M3/M16 long frame use them?
Getting ready to mount beds on my M4 and M16. I assume I need one per side on the M4 but not sure about the M16 or M3A1.
Thanks

Hi Kevin,
I just removed the civvy hard top and cab from my m16a1 and it has 2 shim plates on the front frame pads on both sides just like my m2a1. Hth.
