Does anyone know how you time the White engine? Or can you steer me to a manual that explains the procedure.

This is how I set the points for the first startup on my track. Put number one cylinder on #1 Top dead center firing. Loosten the distributer so you can turn it. Turn the dist until the pionts are open the max amount. set the points so they are open .020 at the top of the lobe. Then turn the distributer so that when #1 cylinder is top dead center firing the points have opened .002 thousanths. This should give you a timing setting of about 5 degrees before tdc. It will not be perfect but should run pretty good. you might have to tweek it slightly with a timing light. I set mine this way to get it running and have not had to change it yet. This is and old method for setting 4 cylinder tractors, but works well on most distributer engines. Good luck.
