Title: Pedal draft stops
Post by: emptyhead on April 20, 2014, 07:24:54 AM
I guys don't know if that's the proper name but I am working one the pedal assembly and on the sheet metal part that forms part of the fire wall what are the materials used for the draft stop that the pedals slide between is it leather there is also a thicker piece that the pedal bumps into on the top is that also thicker leather or rubber. When I took all of that apart it just crumbled so no idea of what they are made of. Thanks.

The draft pads are rubber with a cord fiber inside. If you are going to make your own let me know as I have some rubber here that is quite similar to what is used and I can send you a chunk if you need some.

Somebody made the complete kit with draft stops, the steering wheel felt and the e-brake and transfer case seals with all the hardware I bought 2 I think they were only about $60.00 I can't for the life of me remember who made them. They fit really good.

Rob Ross, Roger Condron and Mike Keller put the group order together.  I think Roger kept any leftover sets.  You can call him at 801 645-0505.
