Post by: bright87 on June 10, 2014, 11:56:02 AM
Anyone know of a source or a drawing for the two drip pans that mount under the hood?
Thanks-Michael

Bright, let me check when I get home. I had a couple of sets made up when I built mine I may have a set I'd part with if your interested. They were patterned off an original set.

Drip pans??  What are they? Where do they go?  I haven't seen or heard of them.

I call them rain gutters. they mount on the center hood armor piece to catch the water dripping through the cracks on either side. This crack or gap is directly over your carburetor so it is a good idea to have the air horn to the air cleaner in place or cover your carb. Here is a photo of one on my third halftrack. It's hard to make out and is directly under the hinges.

I forgot I took some shots of the gutters when I built them.

One set is the original and 2 sets I had bent and did the finish work. I was going to hang on to one set but would sell 1 set.
