Lottery

With the Mega Millions over $360 million, it is always fun to think what if you won that. I am curious to see what other people would do.
For me first off my house, bills and establishing a fund so I can live comfortably. Then with any remaining play money I would buy a large chunk of land to start an armor farm. After that I would probably buy one or more of those Hellcats, Sherman, and Armored Cars that are currently for sale. I would also like to get a dozen halftracks together and try to get the movie industry to use them. I really want to see movie with a field of period correct armor on the move, instead of just one or two pieces on the screen at the time. It is probably foollish, but it is a dream I have.
Needless to say, but I am really bored sitting at work right now.

Hmmmm, sounds like a good solid plan. Although I'd rather have big meets of like minded HMV owners my self. Lots of trails and convoys. Hollywierd not so much!

That might be a better idea. I have always wished that there was a rally here in the US like Tanks in Town or War and Peace, etc.

I have had a very good life, as a kid I wanted to do 3 things.
1. Be a Marine, done,
2. Be a firefighter, done,
3. Be a teacher, doing that now with my collection.
If I hit the lottery, I want to build a hospital in a very small poor village our church sponsers in cental america. Nothing else I need.

Well we have another chance Friday. I'm pretty happy but this would go a long ways to feeding my Armor fetish.

I probably wouldn't stop drinking cheap beer, but I would stop drinking warm beer.
I think I would start an auto shop class that could work on WWII armor. (They sure don't have autoshop in any of the schools. All they do is give 'em a number to the tow company and mechanic.)

Dinadin and I were talking about looking into the costs to produce hinges identical to the originals. The bid to set up the dies/forges was 20,000.00 dollars with an understanding there would have to be a minimum run of 500 hinges at 35.00 a piece.
Needless to say one would have to sell a crap load of hinges to make any money on that deal!!! We dropped that idea!
Quickly!
