reproduction door latch parts list

the door latches used on the halftrack use what are called cab latches.
i have found one that "MIGHT" work. there are some slight differences but the distance from the handle to the edge is correct which is the most important. they come without the inside lever also, as shown in the link.
they are 2 15/16" wide and the originals are 2 1/4" wide so you would need a wider base plate or have it hanging over.
anyone know of a better match?

the drawing indicates they're 2" wide and come in left and right handed configurations.  not sure if the handle key matches up.

the original barrel bolts where made by stanley.
stanley still makes barrel bolts with the scalloped sides.


 i ordered a 2 1/2" stanley bolt. the body has the same width. the bolt is 5/16 and the original is 3/8"
this will work if you install a longer pin or install it closer to the edge of the latch plate.
