Nice weather here in Northern California so took the track for a 2 mile test ride in the neighborhood.  Ran great.  Now have a total of 8 miles on the speedo (as well as experience behind the wheel). 

Been working on a couple of small items for the finishing touches. 
1.  Thanks to Tom Gunther, I picked up most of the original bracket for the passenger seat 'tilt' mechanism.  Can't find shoulder rivets anywhere so may have to make my own....
2.  Picked up some original horns - tore them apart and spent couple days soaking, scrubbing, rinsing to remove 70 years of dried grease and grime.  Was even a hornet (maybe termite) nest clogging one up.  Paint is finished and ready for install. 
3.  And finally acquired all the pieces needed to finish the Shielding system for the distributor/spark plugs/coil - just cleaning and painting and will be ready for install.

Horns restored, installed and working.  Initially forgot to install some star washers and remove some paint where the mounts bolt up to the firewall and couldn't understand why they weren't working after testing so many times...  Fixed that and both mounts grounded and now horns work awesome. 

Finished up the shielding system for the distributor/coil tonight.  Will test tmrw and make some minor adjustments.  Turns out I'm missing one braided cable from the coil box on the firewall to the distributor. Have to track it down.  Steve and Gary (yd328) were a big help walking me thru the process.  Thanks guys for the assist.

After all the new wiring we took it for another 2 mile test ride in the neighborhood. Ran great. An angry fat middle aged woman drove up in a Prius and told us we “were fucking assholes for driving a vehicle like this”.  Made my day!!   Got to love NorCal.
