So the rear bed is going to be a lot of work and it was to get if of but managed to save almost every bolt just had to cut a couple because they had them welded. the rear bed is going to be a lot of work but first I will take the tracks of and remove everything of the rear frame. You could see it was used on a beach of all the sand that was everywhere  ;D I want to have everything cleaned on the frame before my engine comes back. I don't want to rebuild it in dirt   :-\ All the track armoured plates except for 2 are cracked and bend so I'll probably replace all because it won't be straight to start. About the radio boxes I took some pictures but they cut them because they didn't need them. I'll make some close up photo's of the boxes in the next post.

and I gave her a name I saw it on a original picture of a halftrack : Cool Cat

Cool Cat... I like it.
Was it near salt water to cause all the rust? I have parts of 3 and none were near that bad.

I like the name!  Your bed does look a little bit corroded, but at least you have something.  Many of us don't even have that much of a bed!

The tracks are of, and man why are they so heavy  ;D it was hard work to all alone so I got some help from my girlfriend with the second track  :D after that the boogie assembly came of and then the rear axle. Some of the bolts had to be cut they wouldn’t budge even when cherry red. some good progress for now. I’ll strip everything of and sandblast it in the next coming weeks.

Heavy work those tracks  :P :P
