rivet tools

Heres the tools had made by a local shop to replace the rivets in my front bumper. I used a snap on air hammer to form the heads.

I used a Snap on air hammer, the bit was a standard bit that I brought to a machine shop along with a rivet so they can duplicate the head for me. The bit part number is in the pic.

Set hot; they were heated with a torch, put into place then formed with the air hammer and bit.  It was best done using three people. Two worked but three was better. Holding the bucking bar in place was the challenge due to the action of the air hammer.

I was wondering where you got your rivets from ? Also where you using the air hammer on the top side or the bottom of the rivet?

I got the rivets from here  http://www.rivetsinstock.com/   

I have 7/16 rivets for the top and bottom plates. My bumper also used 1/2 to attach the center,frame and bumper ends together. Depending on what you need I can send you some for $5 or $10 plus shipping. At the time I had to buy 100, so I have a few left.
I hammered from the outside as you have to move the tool to form the head. The bucking bar held on the inside.

Gary, it's an old post but do you have any rivets left? I might be in the market for it. Will need them for my winch bumper. I'm in Europe though.
