Pictures will follow soon I promise. I just got my halftrack today. The serial number on the frame behind wheel is 250032. I am not sure about the "3". It could be an 8 or even a 5. But it is definitely is 2500?2. I believe it to be an M-15? It has holes in the bed forming a perfect circle at least three feet in diameter. There is a square hole within the circle for what I assume would have been the turret lock.
Can anyone shed some light on the serial numbers? I have registered with G503 but have not been accepted yet. As soon as I do I will log the numbers on the data base.
 The serial numbers on the crab assembly are 48409.

Looking at the G503 data base it looks like you have a White M4 halftrack which is a 81mm motar carrier. You don't have to be a member to look or surf the G503 site. Only to post on  the site. Welcome to the halftrack family.  :D

2500?2 is in the series of M4 mortar carriers all made by White so definitely was not an M15 it would seem. If it was an M4 modified into an M16A1 that would be VERY interesting. When you can post some pics of the rear part of the frame. If it is a long frame with that serial number it might be one of the few White build M3's. Might be a rare beast, congrats!
