Obviously not done yet, but it runs so good and is so fun to drive, I couldn’t help putting it to work. All my neighbors and I live on a uncared for dirt road which is now smooth enough to ride bicycles on. The neighbors keep throwing money at me for gas. Win win.

Got a bed on it now and have been driving it all over the place. Hit 50mph by accident!

Finally! All the cab armor has been acquired and mounted. The only things left to obtain are the proper stencils and a coffin. I also need to replace trans seals. If you are interested on how close it looks to Patton’s actual hearse. Search “Patton’s funeral” on YouTube. There are some minor differences ( rear tank and large rack over cab), but the ignorant public won’t notice .

Interesting, I looked up the youtube video. I didn't know they used a halftrack in the funeral.

No problem. Mount a few tons of armor on the back like it's supposed to have and you won't have that problem any longer.

Getting ready for the 4th of July. Patton’s hearse is almost done. The stencils are coming and I’m looking into a casket. It gets painted black for Halloween with washable paint and when DMV opens up I can get my “TRAKULA” plates.

Hoping my hometown parade doesn't get moved.
Already had another one I'd planned on riding in moved to September.

The hood numbers are a bit longer than the original hearse, but this thing isn’t going to a museum. I star seems about perfect
