Tripod stowage bracket footman loop locations
« on: March 16, 2020, 06:01:03 PM »
Could someone provide the measurements from the top of the rear armor to the centers of the two footman loops that hold the 50 cal. tripod upper stowage brackets on an M2/M2A1? The rear armor drawing for Piece #5 Footman Loop Holes shows both loops at 11-5/16” but the left loop is supposed to be a little higher up on the panel than the right one so I don’t know which side, if either, is supposed to be at 11-5/16”.

Much appreciated.

Jon,
The mounting holes are 11 7/32" from the top on my plate.

Which side is that Gary? They're different heights. Looking from the inside, the right side is higher up than the left. Thanks.

I took the measurement on the driverside. The passenger side on mine is 11 7/8".
