Hey everyone,
Shon and I have been busting tail trying to get our pulpit armor on Lucky 13 fabbed up and actually constructed. He's done most of the fab work, all I do is weld together whatever he points to and grunts at. With exception of the ring, all of this has been completely fabricated by us, mostly from 1/4" plate. It's been fun, but it's also been a nightmare. Actually, it really hasn't been all that fun. I'm attaching a bunch of pictures below.
As for the wide outer vertical armor, the front roller matches the radius for the broad front corner bend so we used that to bend around. Burned the paint off the roller, so we need to repaint that now. For the sharp bend a little bit further towards the back, since we don't have a brake, we just cut a line half way through the depth of the plate so we could easily crease it crisply after a little help from the torch.
Thanks to all of you for making this happen. There's been several of you who have been contacting us regularly with all of the dimensions/measurements we ask for.
I got your PM Jon, but I just haven't had time to get back with you. And when I have time, I just simply forget!
Thanks again,
Corey
