For what it is worth...
When you install the rubber boots on the front axles, the manual indicates that the installation sequence should be after you put the knuckle on. This is a difficult task.
Rather, I found that installing the rubber boot BEFORE you put the knuckle on is much easier. Put the inner retaining band on the axle, THEN mount the knuckle and put the outer retaining band for the rubber boot on the knuckle.
