m16 for sale in FL on epay
« on: August 01, 2012, 07:15:52 AM »
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WW2-M16-HALFTRACK-/271025279268?pt=Military_Vehicles&hash=item3f1a5d9124

Buddy of mine looked at it, its an m16 serial number, 29xxxxx. This is the same bright yellow one that was on milweb for a long time after a quick coat of od (over dirt) paint. I have no connection to the seller.

He painted the distributor and everything. Half the restoration will be getting all that paint off of everthing. I used to go to some big equipment auctions the Cat's would get new tracks and a quick coat of paint ::) and they were supposedly ready to go to work.  :-\

Yep the frame is very rusty. About the only things that consistently hold up well on the east coast are front rollers, lol.

My bad i should have put this in the auction section. It didn't sell, final bid was 2500. Since it ran its worth that in parts i think.
