m2A1 halftrack for sale in Missouri

kind of pricy but he does list that he has a parts halftrack, maybe he will sell that separate.

I have seen this one.  The rear armor is sheet metal, maybe 1/8 inch thick.  The bogey wheels are in rough shape and everything was given a coat of OD paint, inside and out.  It is a good parade vehicle though.  If anyone wants to see pictures of it I can get them.  I took some of it a few years ago or I can go there and take a look again, it is only a few miles away from me.

thanks for posting that info dinadin. makes me wonder if i could make some quick repo armor like that on one of my cab forward halftracks and  it would be good enough for most people.

I saw this one again today.  The price is now $20,000 and it comes with a second parts halftrack.  It does have a new set of tracks. The armor is welded on 1/8 inch plate, but the corners are bondo and there is an inch gap between the cab and rear armor.  The seats and the speedometer are incorrect also.
