M16's in Korea non standard modifications
« on: June 19, 2015, 07:55:17 AM »
I have noticed quite a few pictures of M16's in Korea and that era that seem to show a home made roof or platform on top of the cab. If you check pics you will frequently see them with someone standing on top. Anyone ever seen one in person or the remains of one? A couple pics I've seen look like they were made from wood.

I've never noticed but very interested if you have any photos you can post?
Must have been an observation deck?

I thought I had several but can't find them. I'm sure I can find some and will post up when I do. There was one on ebay a week or two ago.

This is probably the picture you are thinking about, it's the only one I can remember, this is in David Haugh's book.
