Radiator welting

 Anyone have a source for the welting around the side and top of the radiator?
1941 White M2
1942 White M4A1 was M4
1942 Autocar M2A1
1942 Autocar M3-75
1943 White M13 rebuilt as M16
1943 Diamond T M3A1

Steve and I got ours from SOS MV, it is the canvas type but it fits very well. I also used their fender welting, although  it's canvas I plan on keeping halftrack dry.

i have a bunch of original samples.

they all are a cloth with a black coating. most (if not all) of the originals i have are not canvas.
canvas can be identified by its weave. canvas is a plain weave.

the black coating on most looks like a rubber coating.
on others its a very thin (almost like a black die) coating.

i have some with a rope bulb and others had a rectangular insert.

the intersecting pieces are either connected with a split rivet  or more common was copper wire.

i have found some that is very close to original that i should have for sale soon.


beachwood has some listed but its the wrong stuff, or at least i have never seen it before.
