winch cable specs

Hi Steve,
With the Specs saying 220 to 237 feet did the 250 feet fit on your Winch?  Or did you torch off 20 or so feet to shorten it?  It is still available and I'm thinking about ordering it since the shipping is included.  Thanks for any info.
