Chuck I thought that might be the center seat out of an M-3 Here is a shot of the one in Mike France's M-3. Doesn't quite look the same though ???

i think it may be for the m16. i have the exact one from a pile of stuff i picked up. the m16 center seat has the bulkhead behind the seat so it doesn't need the rear arms.

I had wondered if it was some kind of later style middle jump seat (like the one in the photo Don posted). But since it has the brackets at the top/back, I figured those would be used to hinge the seat to a wall.

I could use the 6 upright pieces for the top bows, or the windshield armor piece (doesn't have to have the port covers or brackets).

Steve
That looks more like a tray to put your Happy Meal on than a seat.
Fast war story, years ago back in the early 1990s, I was buying my 2nd WC54 (WWII Dodge 4x4 ambulance). I was at a trucking company that owned the WC54. They had used it for 20 years as a mobil repair shop. I was asking the owned of the company some quistons about the truck, there were a couple of his workers in the room also. I asked if the truck still had the map board in it. He looked at me, and slowly said, "map board?? I do not think it has that" One of the workers even asked what is a map board? I told them it was the wooden board that was mounted under the glove box on the truck. At that moment the intire shop at the same time said " YOU MEAN THE COFFEE CUP HOLDER!!!!"
It was still on the WC54, in ment shape, with a slight smell of coffee on it.
One of the few, Frank USMC RET

ha.... i remember buying a halftrack and before i left he said "do you want this to". it was the windshield armor. likely worth more than the halftrack.
