stock numbers
« on: October 01, 2020, 09:05:05 PM »
So, I am looking at some of the old stock numbers for parts for halftracks......Is there a database somewhere which allows you to see what the specifications are (bolt length, thread size, diameter, etc)??

I can find things for current National Stock Numbers, but nothing for the old stock numbers from WWII.

Thanks

Is it not in one of the manuals? Gives dimensions, tolerance and finish.

Hi Spencer,

You might want to look out for
ORD-9   SNL-G-102 LIST OF ALL PARTS FOR HALF-TRACK VEHICLES  (WHITE MOTOR CO.)
ORD_7_8_9_SNL_G_147    M5, M5A1  (INTERNATIONAL)

I would also like to point out the manuals section of this forum. It is really informative. Steve-O created the entire list of manuals that are about all types of halftracks.

Have fun with it!
