Windscreen Armour
« on: August 11, 2021, 04:50:35 PM »
A chap in the U.K. has a Windscreen Armour panel available. He doesn’t know if it’s HT or SC, is there an easy way to tell the difference?

Also, anyone in California got a set of hood panels or parts of for sale?

One I know is the wiper slots for wiper arms are different between the scout car and halftrack. I had a repro wind shield armor from a scout car had weld up and remachine.

One way is the heat treat stamps
The other is the scoutcar is a little bit narrow than the halftrack
If I get out I will measure it for you

Thanks Gents, how different are the markings? Is it a different armour number or some sort of code?
