M2 Canvas
« on: January 19, 2022, 05:53:32 PM »
Folks,

I just finished a canvas cover for my M2. All the straps, buckles, strap caps and canvas cost about $460.00   i'll make another cover and take detailed pictures of the process for others to use for their own project.

Contact me if you would like to buy the finished product with an extra for my troubles. This will be no means a professional product, however, i can answer any questions and share some details photos of what the end result will look like.

I will add that the canvas could "possibly" sewn with a home sewing machine, however, you"ll never be able to attach the straps without a very heavy duty type machine.

PM or email me at roxface3006@aol.com

Thanks,

Paul

For a 10th of the cost of a new canvas i wouldn't mind it not being 100% accurate.

Sounds like a great deal.  I am on my second top canvas. That old cotton just didn't hold up in the bag.  Smadge I would love to purchase one of your tops. or get any patterns or instructions or videos that you could provide. Thanks and take care, Tim

Who out there is capable of making a new top canvas. I have the zippers, straps, I just need the canvas replaced.
PM me if you know any company or individual that can do this.

Hey, Tim. Check with Jim Clark. He's retired but is making some canvas off & on. Good luck.
