Cradles

Eventually I have to pick up a cradle and was wondering where a good place to start would be. Any sites with good info on them, what can I get away with post war if I don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for one. I guess I’m leaning towards a 30/50. Don’t think I’ll be firing from the halftrack unless zombies make an appearance. Going to start in the next couple of months to try and build a dummy or gas firing 50. Thanks guys

I have not seen a cradle for sale in a coue of years. Its getting hard to find anything. I drew up a model of the 50 cal cradle from picturs on line and plan to just make a replica. It dosnt need to be 100% perfect for me. If you have access to a CAD program, there is a reall good model of the M2HB on Grabcad. It could be of usefull of you are planing to build your own. Here is a picture of the models i have and printed out in 1/4 scale as a test.
