Some one can correct me but I don't think the M3's had the coil box only the early M2's. I know my track was rebuilt sometime in the 50's so may have been removed then too.

I have a question ,why do you put a french speedometer ? Why don't you put an US speedometer ?

I put in the French one right now because I'm restoring the original one I have. I have it torn down and need to send the odometer and trip meter off for refurb. I just kind of ran out of time. (That whole work and family thing) Not to worry the NOS one will be there soon!

Hadn't posted in a while, Got the track armor installed along with the fuel hoses. It was Minus 11 at the house this AM hope to get to work on the track tomorrow. Maybe even get her started.

I thought I would do a post this time. This Monday was a big moment as we got Don's engine started. This took place just shy of two years to the day that we moved Don's halftrack in my shop. He has come a long way and boy it looks fantastic to say the least. It defiantly puts my track to shame with what all he has done to it. Here are some photos of the restoration thus far followed by a video of the engine start I put together. I've learned a lot working on his track and mine. Also, a big thanks to all of you on the forums, parts suppliers and to our mechanic Matt who has done lots for the both of us.

Well it probably help if I had the floor plates bolted down. I had the center floor board laying in the back, should of took it off before I drove it. ;D
