Ok, im ready to drop the engine into the frame. I have a French crate engine that's still bolted to its shipping frame. Where do you guys bolt the chain to lift it? Pics of an engine lift in action would be great

this is how i did it.
assemble the transmission before you install.
if you just want to pick the engine you can pull 2 head bolts at opposite ends and bolt them back down with a lifting lug under each.

Thanks Steve. I was thinking head bolts. Are the bolts long enough or do I need longer bolts? What is the torque spec for those bolts once I'm done?
