Weight
« on: May 06, 2014, 12:39:44 PM »
Any guesses as to how much a typical cab/chassis might weigh? How about complete HT weight approx? I saw in another post the frame is about 18' long... Trying to figure out how much trailer I need to start out with.

Thanks!
Doug

you can figure a complete HT will weigh about 15,000 to 18,000# depending on the model.

I know this is an old post and likely no longer a visitor to the site but I hope you May see this question. Was your quoted weight as per the photo? My halftrack is in a similar condition and your quoted weight would make it easier for me to remove mine from the truck.

If you plan on 10 tons you can't go wrong.
