holes 8 and 11 from his plate#5, and the mating holes 5 and 8 from plate #6 are all off by 2".

Thanks Steve. I have been trying to get a clear copy of these for a while. If I get a chance I may convert them to CAD.

Used these to have repro parts made for 3,4,5,6 & 7 so will let you know how they go together (already have original upper armor). Have fitted just 6 & 7 (it's cold here in Michigan !) but some of the holes do not quite line up, however, could be my rear bed as original armor was torch cut and the rear area above the pintle looks like it pushed something heavy in reverse at some point.
Sheet sizes and gap alignment look good, so just a few holes in the L supports to enlarge as looks like something shifted slightly out of alignment.

Phil sorry if the hole location is a little off. I did this with a Stanly 25 ft. tape measure one day while waiting to leave after a parade. By then my half track was "finished" (are they ever really finished) and it was hard to measure in between my bumper / steps. The other hole measurements were done with the 25 ft. tape and are close +or- 1/16th of an inch.
Take care, Tim Sutter

I also have all the drawing for M-2 rear armor,as well as battery box top and outside plate, mine were taken from original plates,I only had half of the armor so I made the other half from 1/4 plate.

Are you looking fpr CAD files ot DRW files to take to a waterjet? I have files drawn up in Alibre. I would have to confirm the dimensions befor sending them out though.

I have CAD files that are correct for the body armor but no track armor or floor.

I have a guy that can laser cut the parts so I will have to check with him and see what kind of file format he uses.

Monkeypirate, my guy can use either file format. If you could send them my way, that'd be great!

I just bought an M2A1 that needs rear armor and doors. If Steve1973 can send me the cad files that would be outstanding. I will get it cut and ready to install in the spring. Thank you very much.

I've been working with someone that lives a few hours away who knows CAD. He is helping me separate the files and making a PDF drawing sheet to go with each file. My goal is to have a file folder for each armor plate. Each file will contain the CAD file, PDF layout drawing with measurements, photo of actual plate and any instructions such as which holes need counter sinking or where to bend or bevel the plate. This takes a lot of time which I haven't had in a while. Plus I'm trying to get my halftrack back on the road. I hope to have something by Spring March or April.

Steve,
Did you ever have a chance to do this? I may replace my two back plates with repros. The originals have holes cut in them.
Thanks
