I figured that tisco was a repackager, but if it says made in USA, it is supposed to be actually manufactured here and not just re-labeled(of course I'm sure that no company has ever been unscrupulous like that!). Next time I'm over at the HT I'll look at the wire closely. I seem to remember them being imprinted with USA. I try to buy US made anytime I can, regardless of the price. People don't seem to understand that there's a difference between price and cost. Price is money that you take out of your wallet to pay for something. Cost is the total damage done to an economy/country in terms of lost jobs, lost skill sets, economy and knowledge to say nothing of the future security of the country. Remember, if you don't buy anything your neighbor makes, he can't afford to buy anything that you make.
